Stainless steel finned elements are high-performance heating components designed for efficient heat transfer in harsh environments. These elements feature a stainless steel construction, providing excellent corrosion resistance and durability, making them ideal for demanding industrial and commercial applications.

Stokes offers a wide range of stainless steel finned elements in various lengths, wattage ratings, and form factors to cater to different heating requirements. Our 11mm series is available in power densities of 46.5 kW/m², 60 kW/m², 93 kW/m², and 124 kW/m², ensuring flexibility for different applications.


Why Stainless Steel Finned Elements Are Needed

Finned elements are used to enhance heat transfer efficiency by increasing the surface area exposed to airflow. Stainless steel construction offers several advantages:

Available Form Factors

Stokes stainless steel finned elements are available in three different form factors to suit various installation and space requirements:

  • "U" Form: A compact U-shaped design suitable for installations where space is limited but high heat output is needed.
  • "W" Form: Provides increased surface area and heat distribution while maintaining a compact footprint.
  • "Multi" Form: PA versatile option designed for maximum flexibility in custom heating applications.
  • "Straight Length": Straight length elements are made to order and should be mounted in the vertical plane and rigidly secured at one end to allow the element to expand. Straight length elements are supplied with a floating bush.

Each form factor is available in different lengths and wattage ratings, allowing for precise customisation based on heating requirements.
